Auxiliary V2 Stainless Hunting Knife

The Auxiliary is a small hunting and skinning knife ideal for any hunter or outdoors enthusiast. The AEBL High Carbon Stainless Steel has been carefully crafted, and has been heat treated to achieve superior durability and sharpness. Each knife is delivered razor sharp.

Since we've started making the Auxiliary it has become the most popular hunting and skinning knife that we offer at Fehr Forgeworks. Due to the comfortable handle and blade design it works well for skinning, as well as a great all around camping and utility knife. Based on customer feedback we've implemented a few updates with the Auxiliary V2 to make it even more functional.

1. Jimping

The V2 features jimping along the spine of the blade, starting at the handle and continuing for just over an inch to provide extra grip 

2. 90 Degree Spine

Starting at the jimping, the spine of the blade features a sharp spine allowing for better scraping abilities and striking with a Ferro Rod

3. Flat Edge

In order to increase ease of sharpening, there is no recurved edge, as was present on the V1

4. Stainless Steel/Micarta 

While the 80CRV2 High Carbon Steel remains popular we now offer the Auxiliary V2 in AEBL Stainless which is a very tough stainless to allow for ease of maintenance. Furthermore, sandblasted, textured micarta for the handle allows for extra grip and durability.

In addition each knife includes a Kydex sheath, with the option to upgrade to a hand tooled leather sheath.
