Hand Forged Copper & Steel Coffee Scoop (2 Tablespoon)

Crafted with copper and steel, this coffee scoop is both functional and visually pleasing. Copper has a special sentimentality for me - it's where my love for metalworking began many years ago, even before I started making knives, and its still my favourite material to work with. This scoop measures at 2 Tablespoons, and works for measuring beans or grounds. The interior is a matte finish, whereas the exterior of the scoop has a hammer texture and light polish. The handle is forged steel, and I wanted to leave the natural, rough forged look to add some contrasting colour to the copper scoop and accents

As time goes by and the scoop is used, the copper and steel handles may begin to oxidize. However, you can easily eliminate any surface oxidation or rust by gently scrubbing with 0000 steel wool. Additionally, the steel handle is coated with beeswax to prevent rust from forming. After washing, make sure to fully dry the scoop and do not put it in the dishwasher. By following these steps, the scoop will continue serving precise scoops of grounds for a long time.
