This hunting knife is handcrafted in Winnipeg, Canada with a breathtaking 250-layer composition of 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steel. Each blade is carefully hand-forged and painstakingly polished to reveal the stunning pattern forged into the blade, making it a one-of-a-kind piece for any collection, or tough as nails user blade!
The details I put into this blade make this piece an excellent gift. 1/8" thick, this blade has the durability for heavy use as well as the edge geometry for fine slicing which makes it a superior performance blade. As I searched for the perfect handle, my focus shifted to finding a unique material. Ultimately, I decided on a piece of shed Moose Antler sourced from Northern Canada. To match the hint of brown from the exterior of the Antler, I paired this knife with a brown leather sheath. The larger handle also allows for a comfortable grip, and the brass liners puts the weight into the handle. The full tang blade features a high polish all around, with the tang featuring the mirror polish reflected in the blade.
This blade also includes a custom leather sheath, carefully crafted and designed for easy carrying and safe storage. As this blade is carbon Damascus, it is recommend to clean the knife quickly after use and oil with mineral oil for storage to prevent rust.
