Damascus EDC Knife with Laminated Wood Handle

As its name indicates, this blade is designed for Every Day Carry, but also excels at skinning and utility tasks, as it features a high grade Damascus Steel blade, manufactured entirely in Canada from 150 layers of 15N20 and 1095 Steel by bladesmith Graeson Fehr.

This knife has a full flat grind and fine edge for detail work. Furthermore, the unique handle is made from Pau Ferro, Paduk, and Maple wood. The pins are polished stainless and the liners are black G10, complementing the black and white blade.

The knife comes with a black kydex sheath with adjustable belt clip. Although the Damascus steel will help protect against rust well by itself, a light coat of mineral or gun oil is recommended for storage to maintain the full luster of the pattern. Any light surface rust can be removed with sunshine cloth or 3000 grit sandpaper.

Note: there is a small crack in the one handle scale which has been stabilized to seal and preserve it. It is not a structural issue, however it is a slight cosmetic blemish, which is the risk when working with such old and unique materials. I chose to feature this in order to see the real age of this unique material.
