Legionnaire Stainless V2 Hunting Knife

The “Legionnaire” is a small hunting knife ideal for any hunter or outdoors enthusiast. The AEBL High Carbon Stainless Steel has been carefully crafted, and has been heat treated to achieve superior durability and sharpness. Each knife is hand crafted and delivered razor sharp.

The Legionnaire is one of the most popular knives that we offer at Fehr Forgeworks. Due to the slim handle design and thin point of the blade it works well for skinning and whittling, as well as a great all around camping, and EDC knife.

After 4 years in production we are happy to launch the Legionnaire V2 with several updated design features as described below: 

1. Jimping

The V2 features jimping along the spine of the blade, starting at the handle and continuing for just over an inch to provide extra grip, as well as a raised thumb grip.

2. Flat Edge

In order to increase ease of sharpening, there is no recurved edge, as was present on the V1.

3. Stainless Steel/Micarta 

While the 80CRV2 High Carbon Steel remains popular we now offer the Auxiliary V2 in AEBL Stainless which is a very tough stainless to allow for ease of maintenance. Furthermore, sandblasted micarta for the handle allows for extra grip and durability.

In addition each knife includes a Kydex sheath, with the option to upgrade to a hand tooled leather sheath.
