Legionnaire Stainless V2.5 Hunting Knife

The Legionnaire is a small hunting and skinning knife ideal for any hunter or outdoors enthusiast. The AEBL High Carbon Stainless Steel has been carefully hand crafted, by Canadian bladesmith Graeson Fehr and has been heat treated to achieve superior durability and sharpness. Each knife is delivered razor sharp. Due to the comfortable handle and blade design it works well for skinning, as well as a great all around camping and utility knife.

The Legionnaire is my personal favourite hunting knife model, and one that we've been making for almost 10 years now. The V2.5 Version has a few unique design characteristics that make it stand out and provide the user with added functionality:

1. Jimping

The V2.5 features jimping along the spine of the blade, starting at the handle and continuing for just over an inch to provide extra grip

2. Acid Stonewash Finish

The 2.5 model has a unique acid stonewash to help offer even more rust protection, as well as a tactical/weathered look. This helps reduce glare in the field and during use, as well as masking any scratches the blade will pick up in use.

3. Flat Edge

In order to increase ease of sharpening, there is no recurved edge, as was present on the V1

4. Stainless Steel/Micarta

AEBL Stainless which is a very tough stainless to allow for ease of maintenance. Furthermore, we offer it with Dymalux handle material, which is a synthetic material designed to look like walnut wood, allowing for the beauty of wood, but durability of micarta.

In addition each knife includes a Kydex sheath, with the option to upgrade to a hand tooled leather sheath.
