This blade works well for game as well as bbq, and also for chicken. The thin point helps to pierce skin and do precise work, and the wide belly of the blade helps with controlled cutting to avoid slicing in the wrong areas.
This East Indian Rosewood handle is quite durable and although they are not dishwasher safe, a light coat of mineral oil from time to time is enough to protect them from moisture and humidity changes, maintaining the beauty of the wood, as well as keeping that comfortable, warm feel in hand. Each knife handle has a blue G10 liner to add a pop of colour and to match the other blades in the BBQ lineup. This blade pairs well with the Brisket Knife and BBQ Slicer.
The AEBL Stainless Steel is perfect for durability and those that want a low maintenance blade that will perform well. Hardened to around 62 HRC, it'll hold up well for durable use on any cutting board, and maintain a thin, sharp edge for trimming meat.
