Bird and Trout Knife

As its name indicates, the Bird and Trout knife is designed for waterfowl and deboning. The gentle curve of the blade allows for fleshing, and the thin hollow grind works well for deboning fish.

This knife is made from AEBL Stainless Steel which is a steel specifically designed for high grade razors as its holds up well to abrasive materials such as hair or fur, and is also one of the easier stainless steels to resharpen since its microstructure is optimal for a razor edge.

This blade has a hollow ground edge allowing for weight reduction and also to maximize the edge geometry for optimal sharpness. In addition the handle has been made from grey/black G10 which is a very durable synthetic material.

The knife comes with a black leather sheath with integral belt loop. Each sheath has been hand stitched and hand stamped.
