Auxiliary V3 CPM MagnaCut

Since we've started making the Auxiliary it has become the most popular hunting and hunting knife that we offer at Fehr Forgeworks. Due to the comfortable handle and blade design it works well for skinning, as well as a great all around camping and utility knife. Based on customer feedback we've implemented a few updates with the Auxiliary V3 to make it even more functional.

This knife is made from CPM Magnacut, hardened to 64 HRC. This level of hardness yields extreme toughness and edge retention, superior to virtually anything else available on the market. Furthermore this blade has a stonewash finish which creates a satin, polished look with a subtle reflection. 

These blades have been sharpened to 400 grit and stropped, which yields a smooth yet subtlety toothy edge to ensure a sharp edge that'll perform well for every situation and material.

1. Jimping

The Aux V2 features jimping along the spine of the blade, starting at the handle and continuing for just over an inch to provide extra grip. The Jimping on the V3 is more pronounced than that of the V2, in order to give better grip. 

22. Replaceable Handles

The V3 has another unique feature, which is replaceable handles. The G10 and Micarta handles are held on with Gulso Bolts, which lock in tight and keep the handles secure, but are able to be unscrewed for cleaning, as well as providing the option of different colour handles depending on preference. Furthermore, the micarta handles have been textured for additional grip, and sandblasted for added texture to ensure it stays in your hand no matter what comes your way!

In addition each knife includes a Kydex sheath, with the option to upgrade to a hand tooled leather sheath.
